Managing Application Development for SharePoint 2010

Building your own custom REST services and consuming them with jQuery AJAX
ASP.NET web forms, connected webparts, update panels, postback and client context.  Sometimes, things are just getting way too hard.  But it really doesn't need to be! 
In this session we'll look at a new technique and see how easy and powerful it is to build your own simple REST service.  We'll then consume the result with jQuery AJAX. We'll even package everything up nice and neat so it's just one single WSP solution easy for deployment.
